Building Relationships That Last, Part 1: Necessary Endings
Topic: Relationships Scripture: Ruth 1:1–1:22
This passage follows Naomi and her daughter-in-law Ruth from Moab back to Bethlehem. They are widowed and have very limited ability to care for themselves. They leave behind places and people to start over. We also may find ourselves in situations where we need to leave behind places and people that pull us down. The seasons of our lives are filled with ups and downs, but it is through God’s presence that we find hope and healing. Healing comes when we leave the past behind and become part of a community with God’s people to help us to find hope and new beginnings.
