RiceFamily2018My family and I want to welcome you to come and experience Easter at North Valley! No matter where you’ve come from, what you’ve done, or what you’re going through, God wants you to know that he loves you and that he has a plan for your life that’s for your good and for his glory!

As a new church, on our new campus, there is no other Sunday in our year that gets us as excited as Easter Sunday! It’s by far one of the best times of the year for friends and family in our community to gather.

We don’t want you to miss it! You will want to make plans now to invite other family and friends that may want to come.

We will be offering four Easter worship services this year, including a special sunrise service in our courtyard. The remaining services will be in our chapel.

All services inside the chapel are being scheduled to have baptisms.

If you have not been baptized and would like to, please click here for more information. There is no better day of the year to be baptized than Easter Sunday, as it symbolizes the public proclamation of a person's faith in Christ; the old is gone and buried, and the new-self has been raised to walk in newness of life!

As for our worship services, you can expect a casual and contemporary worship experience. You can get a feel for our services by watching our welcome video (click here).

After our services conclude, we are hosting a special event for the community at large. We will open our courtyard for a Kids Easter Egg Hunt, bounce houses, and fun for the whole family and friends to gather. There will be music, games, volleyball, prizes and more! Kids will want to bring their Easter Egg baskets if they have one. A food truck will be available to purchase lunch. There will be plenty of fun for the whole family!

RyanMy family and I look forward to seeing you there!

What to expect on Easter Sunday?

Our Easter services will last about 70 minutes. You can expect a message rooted in Scripture and relevant to life about the resurrection of Jesus Christ! We will sing a few songs before and after the message, and on most Sunday’s we take communion together.

We keep it casual and upbeat! We want everyone to experience a Christ-centered, grace-filled, welcoming atmosphere. We like to have fun as we go, so come as you are!

What do I need to do for the Services?

Nothing. Just show up! We dress casual and we act normal. We are happy to have you as our guest, and we want to make sure that you feel as welcome as you possibly can. You can let us know you are our guest or you can just try us out anonymously. Either way, we want you to know we are glad you came.

Sunrise Service @ 6:15 am

The sunrise service will be a special family-friendly service in our beautiful outdoor courtyard located behind the chapel. Children are invited to come back for the special event later that day at 1:30pm. The nursery and North Valley Kids classes will only be offered during the three main morning services. The service will be less than one hour with a message and a few songs led by our worship leader on acoustic guitar. We will also have communion together.

Worship Services @ 9:00am, 10:30am, 12pm (noon)

Each service will last about 70 minutes. You can expect a relevant message about the resurrection of Jesus, that’s rooted in the Bible. We sing a few songs before and after the message and take communion most Sundays!

We have Children's Ministry for birth through 5th grade during each service, with age-appropriate and interactive teaching. During the 10:30am service we include a class for 6th-8th grade.

What about Baptisms on Easter?

We are registering men, women, and children right now for baptism in each of the three main morning services. If you have not been baptized at North Valley, we encourage you to explore the FAQ’s about baptism at North Valley and consider pre-registering today.

Please click here to sign up. We will have towels and t-shirts ready for all who are pre-registered and extras for those who spontaneously decide to be baptized that morning.

What about my Kids on Easter Sunday?

We will open our courtyard for an Easter Egg hunt, bounce houses, and fun for family and friends to gather. There will be music, games, volleyball, prizes and more! Kids will want to bring their Easter Egg baskets. We will have a food truck onsite with food for purchase.

What about the Easter Egg Hunt?

What about after Easter Sunday?

At North Valley Community Church we have two primary environments: Sunday morning services and Neighborhood Groups. These are groups that meet in homes around the North Valley during the week. They are great places to be known and accepted! We talk about the message from Sunday and share what is going on in our lives. We invite you to check one out - click here!
